The Beacon is a new worshipping community planted out of St John’s in October 2020.

Led by a Worship Team, we meet at the St Francis Centre on the Tudor Road, with a simple vision - to be God’s bright beacon on the estate and beyond.

We are building a community that isn’t limited to Sunday meetings, but where we want to go deeper in our relationships with God, with each other and with those around us, in a way that is real, relatable, and fun!

Sunday’s start at 12noon with a free lunch.

Then at 1pm, we have our Sunday Gathering which is a short, interactive, and informal church service. We do some singing, hear a Bible passage, and then you have the option to choose what you do next: discuss the Bible passage, reflect on your own about it, or get involved in a craft.
