Watoto Children’s Choir Performance

We are excited to announce that we will be welcoming Watoto Children’s Choir to St John’s for two nights on Tuesday 23rd and Wednesday 24th January at 7pm as part of their Signs & Wonders tour.

Watoto work’s throughout Uganda caring for children who have been orphaned through a variety of circumstances. Each child is cared for,  placed in a loving and attends school in one of the Watoto villages of which they have a number throughout Uganda.

The Choir is comprised of 18 children and 10 adults from Uganda. Each child in the Watoto Children’s Choir has suffered the loss of one or both parents and now lives in a Watoto village.

Watoto Children’s Choirs have toured since 1994 as ambassadors of millions of African children in need of hope. Their audiences come from all walks of life including the Queen of England, President George Bush, the UK, Australian, Canadian and Scottish parliaments, and the greater public; warming many hearts wherever they go.
